I make these for dessert or midnight snacks at least once a week. They’re a snap to make and produce consistently pleasing results.

Ingredients
125 Grams Butter Softened
1/2 Cup Sugar or Caster Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 Cups Self-Raising Flour
1 Cup Choc Chips
Directions
Microwave your butter in the microwave for 15 seconds. It will become softened.
Put your softened butter, brown sugar and sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until combined. This will take about 1 minute.

Add an egg.
Mix until incorporated. This will take about 1 minute.
Add your flour.
Add your choc chips.
Mix until thoroughly combined.
Getting cookies out of the pan is a pain. To make life easier, oil the tray or line it with baking paper.
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Shape the dough into a ball in your hand, then flatten it out. It should like a thick coin and weigh about 30 g.
Place each cookie on the tray, leaving enough space for it to expand. Put it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
Once cooked, let them cool for 1 minute. Then, place them on a cooling rack. This will make them crispy.

After that, enjoy your snack!
