A great appetizer for parties!

ree

This was a hit at parties when I was a kid. I still make them to this day. Ok, they aren't a fancy entrée but they taste great and are cheap to make.

This will be an instant hit!

We called them pigs in blankets but proper pigs in blankets are a wrapped frankfurts. The proper name of these are devon rolls.

Recipe

Makes 8 Rolls

Ingredients

8 Slices Devon (Baloney)

300 Grams Potatoes peeled and diced into cubes

5 Grams Chives

15 Grams Butter

1/2 Cup Milk

Salt to Taste

Pepper to Taste

Directions

ree

Peel and dice your potatoes.

ree

In a pot add the potatoes and enough water to cover the potatoes. Cook until your potatoes are soft. Roughly around 20 minutes.

ree

Roughly chop the chives.

ree

Add the milk, butter, salt, pepper and chives, then mash.

ree

You want it looking nice and creamy. Add more milk if needed.

ree

place your devon (baloney) down on a flat surface.

ree

Add a good amount of mashed potato in the middle

ree

Roll one side up. Then on the other side, so a small amount of the devon (baloney) over laps. Use a toothpick to hold it together.

ree

Place them on a platter. Enjoy!
