Add all the condiments, besides the burger sauce and tomato sauce, to the beef mince.
Mix until fully combined.
Make four balls weighing about 100g each from the mince.
Flatten them out.
Heat your grill or pan. Add some oil and place your patties on it.
Start on your buns while the patties cook.
Meanwhile, slice your buns in half.
Butter the buns. If you cook them in a toaster or oven, butter them after they are cooked instead.
By this time, your patties should be cooked on one side. Flip them over.
After a few minutes, flip your patties again and put the buns on, butter-side down.
Take your buns off when they’re toasty and golden like this.
Flip the patties for the last time, placing cheese on top of each patty.
Add special burger sauce on the bottom bun and tomato sauce on the top bun.
Add a slice of cheese on the bottom bun. Place your gherkins and onion on the top bun.
Place both your patties on the cheese on the bottom bun.
Cap it off with the top bun. Enjoy!
