Makes a great healthy snack, add watermelon or any fruit you prefer, here's my version.
A healthy work lunch or snack? At home and feeling a craving for something sweet? Makes a healthy snack any time of the day, or add some ice cream and custard for a dessert, try it with the kids! You can add watermelon or any fruit you prefer.
A great tasting fruit salad!
I usually have it for lunch or half a serving as a snack. If I want something healthy, I don't add the cinnamon sugar, though it has a really nice spicy aroma to it. I like kiwi fruit, but it’s a hassle to peel. That’s before I discovered this life hack I’ll share below.
Recipe
Makes 1 Serve
Ingredients
1/2 a kiwi fruit
1/2 a banana
1/2 a pear
1/2 an apple
1/2 a dragon fruit
1/4 rock melon
1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
Directions
Cut kiwi in half and use a spoon to go around the outside, then lift the fruit out with the spoon.
It should come out cleanly, like this.
Quarter and halve it to make big, nice chunks.
Slice your banana to 2cm slices.
Dice your pear and apple to 2cm cubes.
Dice the apple the same as your pear.
Cut your dragon fruit lengthwise, then to 2x3cm chunks.
Cut your rock melon lengthwise. Then, make 1-2cm cubes.
Mix the fruit. You can eat it simply, or add cinnamon sugar, some ice cream and custard to make a delicious dessert. Enjoy!
