Sexy Scotch Fillet with Butter Veggies and Mash

Take steak to the next level with this recipe.

I won't tell you how to cook steaks in this recipe, but cook it according to your personal preference. I like mine medium well, which is between medium and well-done. Depending the size of the steak it takes about 10 minutes. I turn mine three times, cooking it twice on each side.

Use any steak you like for this amazing dish.

This is a recipe I made with my own knowledge and experience. This dish looks impressive and elegant but is very easy to cook.

Recipe

Makes 2 Serves

2 200-300 Gram Scotch Fillet Steaks

1 Bunch of Skinny Asparagus

1/2 Medium Red Capsicum (Red Bell Pepper)

1/2 Medium or 1 Small Zucchini

6 Button Mushrooms

100 Grams Green Beans

Worcestershire Sauce

Butter(150)(100)(25) Grams

3 Small Potatoes

1/3 Cup Milk

A Pinch of Cracked Black Pepper

Steak Seasoning

Sesame Oil

Ground White Pepper

chilli flakes

5 spice

salt

3 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)

Directions

Season both sides of the steak with just a sprinkle of the steak seasoning. Let your steak sit for 20 minutes.

Cut the asparagus almost in half. Discard the tough bottoms. Set aside.

Cut the tops and tails off your beans. Set aside.

Slice your capsicum (bell peppers) and zucchini. Cut your mushrooms in half. Set them aside.

Roughly cut your potatoes in eighths and place them in a pot with water to boil.

Once the water boils, turn the heat down to medium-low. Cook for 30 minutes until the potatoes are very soft. Meanwhile, prepare the rest of the dish.

In a pan, melt 150 grams of butter on medium low heat. Add the Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of cracked black pepper.

Add the asparagus and cook them for 5 minutes, then add your other vegetables tossing occasionally.

In another pan, add 100 grams of the butter and melt it on medium heat.

Add your steak and cook to your preferred liking.

The vegetables should be done in roughly ten minutes. About the same time as the steak.

Let your steak sit for 2 minutes while you make your mash potato.

Drain your water and add 25 grams of butter and milk to the pot with the Potato. Mash it up with a potato masher or fork.

Plate everything up and try to make it look a little fancy. Drizzle the butter sauce from the vegetable pan over the top. Enjoy!
