Quick Combo Noodles in a Cup

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

If you have some cup noodles, try this recipe to spruce them up!

I love making these. They taste great and are easy to make. Very cheap, and you can add any ingredients you like. You can also use packet instant noodles instead of cup noodles.

Great tasting fried noodles made easy with 1 pan.

These are great for people without a lot of time. I used to make these a lot after working night shifts when I was younger. You can use any type of sauce like soy instead of hoisin.

Recipe

Makes 1 Serve

Ingredients

1 Small/ Medium Chicken Thigh

1/2 Rasher (Slice) Bacon

4 Medium Prawns

1/4 Large or 1/2 Small Carrot

1/4 Large or 1/2 Small Spanish Onion

1 Shallot (Scallion, Spring Onion)

1/4 Medium Capsicum (Pepper)

1 Clove Garlic

1/2 Zucchini

1 Cup or Bowl of Noodles

1 Tablespoon Hoisin

1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil

1 Teaspoon Peanut Oil

Directions

Slice you vegetables thinly. Set aside.

Slice your bacon and chicken into thin slices. Cut your prawns in half, lengthwise. Set it aside.

Open your cup noodle halfway and take out the seasoning packets.

Cook it according to packet instructions.

. Sit something heavy on top to keep the lid shut.

Heat up your oil on medium heat. You can substitute it with 2 teaspoons of olive oil.

Fry your garlic until fragrant. Add your meat and prawns, tossing and stirring occasionally.

Remove your noodles once just cooked.

Drain and set aside.

Once the meat and prawns are cooked, add the vegetables.

Toss to combine.

After about 2 minutes, take it off the heat and add the flavour packet. Give your pan a toss to combine.

Add your noodles and toss. Then, put it back on the heat. Keep tossing so the noodles don't burn or stick.

Take it off the heat once combined.

Add hoisin sauce and toss through. Put it back on the heat and toss until thoroughly combined.

I like to put the noodles back on the cup. Enjoy!
